Whatever is a four-part study of the marks we leave behind. It synthesises traditional etchings and relief prints with selections from a rich analogue archive of textures Denise has documented in the physical world—from skidmarks on the road to forests of staples left in telephone poles from years of flyposting. By layering these transient, real-world moments through a photographic lens and back into print, the work gives permanence to the industrial and the accidental.
