Solidarity Forever is a colour Xerox booklet created by Denise Hawrysio specifically for the exhibition In Your Path (2022). Produced through experiments in the photocopying process, the booklet intentionally amplifies and enriches visual glitches to create a visceral language. The images are sourced from various women’s protests in South America.

In Your Path, curated by Hawrysio and Siobhan Britton, brought together books, ephemera, and multiples by women artists represented in the Special Collections at Chelsea College of Arts in London. The project marked International Women’s Day and was titled in solidarity with the Chilean feminist collective Las Tesis, whose anthem protesting the impunity of gender-based violence, A Rapist in Your Path, became a unifying force for global demonstrations…
