This monoprint was made by taking an offset lithography plate to an Occupy Edmonton site during Denise’s artist residency at the University of Alberta. Protestors were asked to write their thoughts relating to the event directly on the plate. The photographic image was taken from a newspaper article about a businessman who stuck his tongue out while walking past the protestors.
